Fantastische Erfahrung: Great place. There's so much to do, lots of things to look at and interact with. Everyone was so nice too. If you ride the train, just know you may get some black soot on you, haha. It was fun though

Fantastische Erfahrung: Are you kidding?! I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Just go here! The Ford museum next door is also a must see! If you're within driving distance, get the year membership with rides, you won't go wrong. Bring some camping chairs so you can watch one of the old fashioned baseball games when in season. Arrive early unless you like to walk. Food can be a little hit or miss, just order wisely and look at someone else's first. And remember, you're still gonna walk a LOT so wear good footwear.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I love Greenfield Village. I started going there on school Field trips as a child. I grew up,moved away, but kept fond memories throughout the years. I finally got the opportunity to visit it again. Iespecially loved Thomas Edisons lab, seeing the Wright Brothers cycle shop, all of the beautiful glass and pottery, and so much has been added since I was a child. A remarkable experience for the whole family. Oh, did I mention the beautifully restored and operating Carousel? Or take a guided ride in a model T, or on the Train. Something for everyone!

Fantastische Erfahrung: We have visited the village twice now and it is still amazing. Where else can you go and see the home where the Webster American Dictionary was finished, the bike shop where the first airplane was designed and built, and the laboratory where the light bulb was perfected. So much history and American culture in one unique village. Loved it. You can see a full review and video on our blog site. Search for Our Haunted Travels.

Fantastische Erfahrung: If you like pioneer villages, well let me tell you, this is the Disney World of pioneer villages! It's so big, we couldn't do it all, will have to return someday. We rode the model t and carousel and train and they were so fun. Almost all the houses were staffed with knowledgeable people to explain stuff and answer questions. We had a frozen custard and it was scrumptious. Loved the crafting demonstrations. All the employees are dressed in period clothing and are so nice. Just a fantastic place. Hope to return someday.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Absolutely loved it. Total package is a little pricey and food price is pretty ridiculous but we loved it. So much history in one place. Ford purchased and relocated historic homes to those 80 acre lot. Beautiful location with Model T for hire that will give you rides around the town as well as a carousel and a steam train.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We were privileged to see and hear the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. They played the the song of every branch of the military and had the veterans stand to be acknowledged. It truly brought tears to my eyes and made me grateful for our Freedom and proud to be an American living in the United States of America!

Fantastische Erfahrung: What a great place. I have visited the Henry Ford Museum a couple of times, but had never visited the Village. We enjoyed it immensely. The train ride was great. As an added bonus, if you are somewhere in the park, and you have train tickets you are allowed to get on the train at any stop to get to another stop. While we were there, we also saw an 1857 rules baseball game. That was a great experience. Word of advice though, be prepared to walk, a lot!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I was dying to come here since I haven't been here since I was maybe in junior high things have changed dramatically for the best it's better to buy a yearly pass as opposed to one day but there's so much to see we got there at nthere are 9 and we left at 5 the gift shops are very expensive so so purchase if you like but the fact that you're getting old history and the pottery barn gives you live demonstrations as do some of the other Places but altogether it's worth the money it's worth the while it's a good family trip

Fantastische Erfahrung: Love learning about history and it is an awesome place to learn and see what life was like back then. Henry Ford didn't want us to forget our history. My boys loved it too will definitely go back.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Must see, unique, fantastic attraction. Original Ford house, Wright Brothers home and the Bike Store where they built the Flyers, other original houses and stores from American history

Fantastische Erfahrung: We went to motormuster Saturday June 18th, we took my sister-in-law and our grandson, what a nice family outing and of course the cars were "Awesome" enjoyed it a lot.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Absolutely beautiful and special place! So many amazing sites to see and so many fun rides for people of all ages! Very cool to see the immersive staff and historical sites! This place is a must see!

Fantastische Erfahrung: We rode the Model T cars three times and the bus once. It was beautiful and well-kept. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

Fantastische Erfahrung: THIS IS PART OF HENRY FORD MUSEUM! It's mainly outdoors, pretty flat and easy to walk. Wagons and strollers are available for the little ones, plenty of benchs to take breaks if you need to. The smartest people are memorialized here. So many things we take for granted were invented by the great minds of the innovative people remembered here at the Henry Ford Museum

Fantastische Erfahrung: It is simply a must see. Every year we enter our car for the motor muster. It is simply unique and a step back in time. From period costumes, to the model T’s, and the animals. It is also a huge place, so west your walking shoes. There’s nothing else like this unique place of history. Great for people of all ages.

Fantastische Erfahrung: So so much to see and do! Had a blast with my daughter on her field trip. Between the village and the museum it is more than you can do in a day.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Anytime I can visit Michigan I always try to stop by. Love the history and enthusiasm from the staff. My favorite is seeing how everything was made and created over time

Fantastische Erfahrung: Love all of this place but the village is for sure my favorite. So much history to explore and a great place to just take a walk. Nice fresh air and flowers everywhere! They also have train and model T car rides. Highlllyyyyy recommended you going here if in the area.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Really nice place to spend a day walking around during nice weather. Lots of historical buildings that are reassembled onsite brick by brick. This includes Henry Ford's childhood house, the Wright brothers' workshop, Edgar Alan Poe's house and much more. Also got to ride around in an original working well-maintained Model-T cars with a chauffeur driving around the park, which is almost 100 years old. Really cool place to check out! The only problem may be finding parking. I'd plan on coming earlier during the day to make sure you get a spot closer to the entrance.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We splurged this year for the Christmas meal at the Eagle Tavern. I highly recommend it. It was a delicious seasonal meal with great entertainment. I'm so glad that we purchased our tickets in October. Holiday Noah's was even better than ever. We were able to to enjoy the Village all night due to the mild weather. Of course a trip is not complete without roasted chestnuts and a cup of cocoa.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This place is quite enjoyable to all those interested in history. Some of the most fascinating buildings were the homes of famous historical figures, including Henry Ford, the Wright Brothers, and Noah Webster. A large portion of the village is self-guided, but the few employees I encountered were very knowledgeable and made the experience even more fun. Some other things I particularly enjoyed were the 1923 carousel and the last Model T ever made. I highly recommend paying a visit, even during the cold season because the buildings are close together and warm inside. Tip: if you plan to return to the village or go to the Ford museum in the near future, you’ll save a lot by purchasing an annual pass.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We bought special tickets to the Hallowe’en event. The tickets were very reasonable for an evening of adventure. It rained the whole night, so we definitely are going to get tickets for next year and hope for better weather because we thought the weather altered what the experience could have been. With that out of the way, it was pretty darn cool! Every street was lined with carved pumpkins. The whole park was transformed into Halloween! The grim reaper was eerily frightful beckoning at you to come closer, the fires burning throughout the park were a great touch! The scarecrow, oh my, the scarecrow in the corn shocks was well done, especially when he ran toward the train as if he was going to get us! The woman in white, the headless horseman, were all amazing productions. The fortune teller was engaging and entertaining, the singing skeletons were worth watching. My favorite was the undertaker in the cemetery! There were food trucks with cider, coffee, popcorn and goodies and some real good too. We weren’t hungry so we didn’t really pay attention to what was available, but I did think that the food was priced slightly higher than I would have wanted to pay. The train ride took us to some great places with unexpected twists and turns like Sasquatch and a witch’s coven to name a few. Everything was well thought out, well planned, well executed with lots of fog effects and props. A very family friendly experience!! It was cool in the daylight, but night really brought out the amazing feel of Halloween with the lights and all. We will go later in the day next year and hope the weather will be nice! Well worth the drive, I look forward to going again next year!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I LOVE this place. We got an annual pass just so we can go when we want. There is always so much to see. This was the first time I went to the Halloween display and I was not disappointed.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Greenfield Village is all about experiencing 1850 life style, they have maintained original duplexes and buildings with little or no modifications. Kids had fun here. 3 to 4 hours are enough to explore the village on a regular Sunday. We had good time at Firestone , get to learn stories from Tom. Volunteers at village are very welcoming and provides detailed information about venues. If you are into ford motors from the village era, you can experience the ride , i personally enjoyed seeing them live on village roads.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We went for the Old Car Festival. (1930's and prior) Because of Covid19, the number of people allowed is scaled down and fewer displays are open or active. But there were many vehicles of all types to see---cars, trucks, motorcycles, high wheeled bicycles and other vehicles of all sorts. There were at least 2 groups playing music and street fair type food available for purchase. Overall, it was a very good time.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Fantastic place to spend a whole day sightseeing and learning. If I could I would keep a full day for the village instead of clubbing it with the museum. In this living history museum there are vintage train rides, vintage cars, houses, and work shops. Wear comfortable clothes as there's a lot of walking that you'll be doing.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Absolutely amazing! Plan to be here all day...even if you don't think you will. Between the museum and out doors, all day. But so worth it! My battery died during our visit, so only a few photos on my phone.

Fantastische Erfahrung: We enjoyed visiting after 50 years away! The beautiful historic buildings are as we remembered. We particularly enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration and the old laboratories.

Jenny Foster 2 years ago

Fantastische Erfahrung: Took my Grandma for her 89th birthday. Scooters and wheelchairs are available to rent so she was able to see the whole park... something she hasn't been able to do in years. She had a great time! Get there early if you don't want to park really far away.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I moved here from Colorado a couple years ago so yesterday was my first time getting to go to Greenfield village and the museum! Someone took me for my birthday! I had a blast what an amazing place! I've never seen anything like it! I highly recommend visiting if you have not yet! There was so much to see We are going to go back again in the fall time I can't wait! The staff was super friendly and helpful and informative!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Wonderful service from all staff. As a couple with walking issues, we had no trouble navigating the village. We rode the train around the village and a Model T within the village with great narration on both. Next we walked to the craftsman we were interested in watching. Highly recommend

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is one of my favorite places in Michigan. It’s a must see if you like to know more about Henry Ford and how everything was managed to bring other people from all around the world to help the development process. It is definitely nicer if you go around the time that there are festivals going on so you get to see more. If you live in Michigan and you’re planning to go couple times a year then I’ll recommend you to get a membership otherwise just purchase a daily pass.
